Thrusterz · an orbital mechanics flight school
Stuck, found a bug, or have an idea? Email thrusterz.app@gmail.com. If it's about a mission, say which one (for example "World 3, mission 30").
Playing
- Controls: on the menu, tap Controls. During a mission, pause (❚❚) to see the controls and the mission's briefing again.
- Stars: three stars for finishing under the mission's Δv par without gyro assist. Gyro assist (G) makes turning easier but caps a run at two stars.
- Worlds: World 2 opens at 50 stars in World 1, World 3 at 50 stars in World 2.
- The dashed line is where you'll coast if you stop burning. It turns red where it would enter a keep-out zone.
- Sound and music: menu → Settings.
Your stars and account
- Saving: progress is saved on your device and, when you're online, to your pilot account in the cloud.
- New device: on the old one, open Pilot and note your restore code. On the new device, open Pilot, enter the code under Restore an account, and your stars come back. In the iPhone app you can use Sign in with Apple instead.
- Lost your code? If you used Sign in with Apple, just sign in again. Otherwise, email us your pilot name and roughly when you last played and we'll try to help.
- Leaderboards: runs are checked by replaying your exact inputs on our server, so a score always comes from a real flight. A mission's leaderboard starts fresh whenever the mission itself changes.
- Names: pick a name under Pilot. Tap a name on a leaderboard to report it; reported names are hidden for you at once and reviewed.
- Delete your account: Pilot → Delete account removes everything we store about you. See the privacy policy.
Common problems
- Leaderboard says offline: the game works fully offline; your runs are sent the next time you're online.
- No sound: check Settings, your device volume and the silent switch.
- Phone held upright: the game plays sideways, so just turn your phone; it works with rotation lock on too.
